Bean Leaf Craft

This fall craft for kids is full of great textures, fine motor skills and lots of glue! This fall leaf craft is great for both older and younger kids. Younger children can make a beautiful craft just by adding beans to the leaf while older children can make more complex patterns using different types of beans. This leaf craft had lots of “again factor” in our house and we know your kids will love it too. You can definitely use your imagination with this one a little - our daughter came up with the idea of making a dinosaur so we did that too!

What you'll need: Poster board or lightweight cardboard (like a cereal box) White glue (a glue stick won’t work well here) Scissors Leaf template 1 Leaf template 2 Dry beans (we used a 15 bean soup mix) How to make your Bean Leaf Craft: Print our leaf template and cut it out. Trace it onto poster board and cut the leaf out. Apply a generous amount of glue to the leaf cut out and spread it evenly over the surface. Add beads to the glue. If you want, experiment with other things. Our daughter loves dinosaurs so she wanted to make a dinosaur next! Please add a comment
