Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme Craft

Create a moveable egg to accompany the popular Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme in the Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme Craft.  Make your own egg from white cardstock, a small brad, markers, and scissors.  Once complete, move the egg as you sing the song!

How to make your Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme Craft
  1. Using scissors, carefully cut an oval shape out of white cardstock. If desired, cut out the oval located on the bottom of the Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme Lyrics page.  (see photos)
  2. Using scissors, cut the egg in half in a zigzag pattern.  Attach the two halves with a small brad on one side.  (see photos)
  3. Using markers, give Humpty Dumpty a face.  Glue the wiggly eyes to Humpty Dumpty’s face, if desired.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  4. Using scissors, cut out a small circle from the yellow circle.  Glue this to the back bottom half of the egg as Humpty Dumpty’s yolk.  (see photos)
  5. Print and cut out the Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme Lyrics.  Glue the lyrics to the bottom of the egg.  Use them to help you sing the song.  Make sure to move Humpty Dumpty as you sing the nursery rhyme!
