You�re My Cup of Tea Tea Cup Greeting Card

Do you know someone who loves tea?  Then, craft the You’re My Cup of Tea Tea Cup Greeting Card which uses a real tea bag!  Create your own tea cup greeting card from colored cardstock, markers, ribbon, glue, scissors, tape, and a tea bag.  Make sure to use a loved one’s favorite type of tea and give this fun card as a special treat!

What you'll need:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • 1 piece of colored cardstock
  • Markers
  • Ribbon (8 inches long)
  • 1 tea bag
How to make your You�re My Cup of Tea Tea Cup Greeting Card
  1. Fold your piece of cardstock in half.  Draw a tea cup on the cardstock, making sure that the bottom of the tea cup is in line with the fold of the paper.
  2. Using scissors, cut out the tea cup.  Make sure that you leave the bottom part of the tea cup folded.
  3. Cut off five inches of the ribbon and glue to the top of the tea cup.  Glue the remaining part of the ribbon to the bottom of the tea cup.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  4. Decorate the outside of the tea cup with markers.  Write “You’re My Cup of Tea”.
  5. Open up the card and tape the tea bag to the center of the card.  Decorate the inside or write a message.
  6. Your card is complete!  Call up a loved one and ask to spend an afternoon drinking tea and enjoying each other’s company.  Deliver your card while you are there to remind your loved one of your special tea time!
